Arrival in Perpignan
Class,
Karl: On the plane (I got the window) in about an hour, dinner was served.
I, had penne pasta, salad, apple pie, and water … Oh, right !!! don’t forget the chocolate bar!! At 6:00 movies were showed, I watched SHRECK 1,mom and dad watched FLY BOYS.I and Johann had three hours sleep mom had two and dad only had one. Well I’d better go now see ya’ soon,
Janet: We left Paris on Saturday morning and drove all day through the beautiful countryside. There were several mountains and gorges caused by the volcanic action from deep within the earth. We had to drive across the tallest bridge in the world! We couldn’t take a picture because our camera was packed under our bikes.
Finally, late at night, we arrived at our rental house. It was too dark to see the Mediterranean Sea when we passed it. But we were able to see it the next day, on Sunday, because it was sunny and clear.
Johann: We found a Soccer ball! We found it OutSide. I played with my mom and Karl in the yard. SOCCER is called football, or Joue au foot in French.

WOW! The tallest bridge in the world. How cool! The 3rd graders are learning about volcanoes here. That's cool that you got to see some formations made by volcanoes.
We got our first snow this weekend. We started school 2 hours late this morning. (had some snow and freezing rain,sleet this weekend).
It's good to hear from you...Can't wait to see some of your pictures.

Hi Karl,
You probably heard about our first snow storm last night. We all enjoyed the late start this morning. Today went very fast. It sounds as if you have had a great start to your stay in France. We will finally start guessing about your pictures tomorrow, Karl. I'll connect my computer to the projector so the class can see all of your pictures.

Sounds like you are on an amazing adventure! I'm trying to get the blog on my computer in Miss Glime's room. It keeps freezing up on me. Missing you alot! I was Mrs. Horstman for a week. Been working with other kids. Glad you found asoccer ball. You can practice your skills, but you are already a good kicker. Miss Glime needs her chair. It is Kaden I had a lot of fun in the snow these couple of days it was very deep. We are practicing basketball in gym. My dad would tie up one of the sleds to the four wheeler. My dad broke my sled when we were going up our neighbor's ditch. Do you go sking in France? My dad is teaching me more about basketball,he is very good at basketball. ED-CO started basketball but we do not have games.
